Dr. David B. Kaplansky earned his BS degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 1998. He received his degree from the Kent State University of Podiatric Medicine in 2002. He completed a three year reconstructive foot and ankle residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center in 2005. He is double certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Foot as well as Rearfoot Reconstruction and Ankle surgery.
His interests include sports injuries, foot and ankle surgery, wound care and diabetic limb salvage, and dermatological conditions of the lower extremity. He also is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedics at The Ohio State University Medical Center, where he instructs both Podiatry and Dermatology residents.
He is a compassionate and energetic physician, who brings with him new techniques and treatments to an ever-growing field of medicine.
